Welcome to the 1st half of the Summer Term at Little Cherries Preschool.

This half term, we will be embarking on the topic

The children will have the opportunity to sequence and create their own stories and recreate their favourites.

We will also be looking at different countries from different books and using simple maps.

Maths

In preschool, mathematical learning takes place through child initiated play, by exploring size, number, shape, patterns and solving problems.

We also develop our mathematical skills through stories, songs and rhymes .

In addition we deliver a Maths Mastery curriculum to enable children to develop key skills in mathematical concepts.
