Bewick Bridge Community Primary School
Building futures. Achieving greatness.
We will be keeping parents/carers up to date with plans for ensuring continued education provision during this challenging time here. Please keep us informed of any developments for you and your family.

For the full guidance on staying at home please click here.
Your children will be having work set for them each day on Google Classroom (Tapestry for Reception children). If you are not able to access this then please email the classteacher or phone the school and we will arrange some paper copies of work for your child to complete.
It is more important as we all settle to a new way of life to get on as a family and enjoy each others company. If your child is getting anxious or upset about their work, please don't force it. Take lots of breaks and look at different ways of learning if that works best for you and your family. For lots of ideas please visit the 'Parents' tab and look at 'Supporting your child's learning'. You can also access Mind Up resources for free and access more resources on https://www.cambslearntogether.co.uk/home-learning/wellbeing.
We will be using Google Classroom for home learning. Please see below for some useful steps and advice for accessing this service and completing assignments. If you have any concerns or queries, please email your class teacher. In Addition, this page gives plenty more ideas for activities to undertake with your children at home.
THE SCHOOL'S VISION
''Our school is a nurturing place where everyone enjoys being. It is a place where staff and pupils respect and value themselves and others; aim to be the best they can be; actively engage in exploration and see challenge as a chance to grow.”
Welcome to Bewick Bridge
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Bewick Bridge Community Primary School. We hope you find our website clear, informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give you a flavour of the vibrant life of our school, the work of our pupils and the quality education we strive to deliver.
Being the Interim Headteacher of Bewick Bridge Community Primary School gives me great pleasure and pride. I am fully committed to the community of the school, striving to ensure that the school serves our local children and their families well.
If you would like to know more about our school, you are very welcome to come and visit. The children of Bewick Bridge very much enjoy talking about and sharing their achievements and our successes.
Developing our identity
We want all of our children to feel as though they belong to the community that is Bewick Bridge Community Primary School. Mr Richardson has been working with the children to learn a rap song about our school. They are in the process of adding music, so this video is a sneak preview and not the finished piece! #beBewickBridge #proudtobeBewick
