On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Bewick Bridge Community Primary School. We hope you find our website clear, informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give you a flavour of the vibrant life of our school, the work of our pupils and the quality education we strive to deliver.
Bewick Bridge serves a wonderfully diverse community of families in Cherry Hinton, a stone throw away from the historic city of Cambridge. We are proud of our multicultural and multilingual identity. Our dynamic and talented staff are fully committed to deliver a high quality provision, inspiring our pupils to achieve greatness and build positive futures. Beside our broad and balanced curriculum, we also have a range of fantastic facilities, such as our dedicated Dance Studio, Art room, Music room and Food Technology room. The school is set amongst spacious playing fields surrounded by the local nature reserve. In recent years, we have significantly developed our Forest School provision. It is another impressive feature of our education offer at Bewick Bridge.
I would also like to share a poem with you which one of our pupils wrote to describe our school.
Our School
Our school where we come to learn and play,
Our school where the bullies are turned away.
Our school where chattering and laughing is all around,
Our school where the best of students are found.
Our school where there are multiple cultures and languages,
Our school where no one does any damages.
Our school where we all once met,
Our school a place we will never forget.
Our school, the best of the best.
If you would like to know more about our school, please arrange a school visit via the school office. I look forward to meeting you.
